Can diversification save species?
I feel like the answer to that is definitely, because as we have seen with mono cultures the species is much more vulnerable making it easy to wipe it out and be extinct very quickly! I was talking with one of my teachers about collecting heirloom seeds while we still can and keep them in a safe at the same timekeeping a personal size garden with the seasonal produce and keeping seeds from the offspring so that we can possibly still feed ourselves with real food, not processed, manufactured, or modified!
So the Chicken or the egg?
So this is a question I have always wondered about myself and after reading the article even saying that it started as an egg from a mutation it still never says what was first an organisms that eventually growing into a chicken it is just so hard for brains to wrap around such an ancient concept,I mean millions, billions how can we ever say with confidence when and where it all began?
Eat Your broccoli?
I have always loved my broccoli! My personal belief may drive many people crazy, but I think as long as your intention is set on a positive mind set as you eat you appreciate, and see the food breakdown into nutrients to feed all of your cells it will! 95% of what happens to us is what we believe and as soon as the greater population realizes this the we can say we have a cure for cancer, and all medical conditions!

Week 4 The pattern of life
- Is there a drug around for just about everything? It seems to be the case! the greatest thing of all is that I have chosen not to participate in that part of the American society, luckily I do not have cable so I never see the commercials, and I am not big in reading magazines where there are full page adds. For myself and my children we practice preventative health care not sick care e stay well by eating organic foods as often as possible, we play outside, we visit the chiropractor for regular check-ups and if we have any issues its off to the acupuncture Dr right way, so even though a huge majority takes something for every ache or pain we practice being in tune with our bodies and minds so that we can flourish and enjoy every moment we can! Like Abraham Hicks says "happy, healthy, happy, healthy, happy, healthy dead!" and that's what I intend on!
- Can we raise our levels of dopamine ourselves? I say of course we can, we do it on a moment to moment basis every time we laugh, every time we have an orgasm, every time we do something that makes us feel good it is our bodies way to keep us level, and when people take drugs like an antidepressant it sends a message to our body that its ok you don't have to send out the troops anymore because we will do it for you!
- How did chimps and humans diverge? That is a real hard question, because we know that it was not just one day and one group said we will take the trees, and you make houses out of the trees we wont talk and you will talk I do not think that it is even possible to think about that divide it happened over a long period that we are just assuming we have a clue.
week 2 Evo-Devo

- I have so many conversations with friends and clients about our existence and when I read the article it feels to me that our own evolution is that simple and by having 2 crucial genes it protects us from ourselves so we can safely experiment without wiping ourselves out! It is like the old saying "Why would you ever want to recreate the wheel" just perfect it right! All of the life on this planet shares DNA of some sort and it just goes to show that we are all one in billions of expressions!
- Darwinism matters to me maybe not directly, but I am fond of the idea of natural selection or survival of the fittest! One of my friends would always talk about cats and how you should never worry because the ones that should make it will because they will know when to cross the street when there is no car and the cats that would get hit were just helping out the species! Some may even compare that in humans that are taking all of these pharmaceuticals maybe it is the human race's form of survival of the fittest, because it is wiping out millions of people that have forgot how to take care of themselves and depend on chemicals to keep them alive instead of doing simple things like eat real food, taking walks, breathing, finding balance between work and play so kudos to all of you that are making an effort to stay well in an holistic manner!

Week 1
Hello,
My name is Amy I am at the end of my second year of Chinese medical school and it has been a great one up to this point, my life is very full to say the least I am a mother of two young boys who are very informed about Chinese medicine they are my biggest fans support group a mom could have, and a very supporting husband who also does therapeutic bodywork. I have been working in the healing arts since 1993 when I graduated from massage school and have been "loving what I do and doing what I love!" ever since.
I co-run a very beautiful wellness center where we offer body work, qi gong, yoga, organic facials and where we have many opportunities to educate our clients in ways how to help themselves by making simple lifestyle changes to obtain better health in a holistic manner!
