Week 8 Classical Physics

  1. Newton's three laws and me- the first law is like being in school it took the momentum or desire to start the process, then second it takes me being responsible and moving myself mass through the process, and third the act of studying is the action so the reaction will be my masters degree in the end. You can not obtain a degree without using each of Newtons laws, or anything else you desire in your life it always takes desire, effort, and action to obtain the goal!
  2. Our "Energy Efficient" culture- Hmmm that is an interesting statement, I think that especially Americans we are happy with all of our comfortable homes, refrigerators, beds, fast food, Internet and get a little grumpy when the electricity goes out for an hour or the Internet is not fast enough all of these experience are not very Energy Efficient! I believe if we all start with small things like recycle, get away from anything disposable, and work on adding solar to all of our homes, start growing enough food to support our personal needs we may have a chance to survive what is coming otherwise my children and grandchildren might not have our planet earth to call home!
  3. Descartes has a lot to answer for!- He was a brilliant man he realized that one can only do what he is capable of, because he is limited to his mind and reality of the world around him. He called it common sense, and maybe we could say it is limited consciousness or awareness and the only way to grow is to expand your mind and be open to the idea that we do not know it all!
